      Pros

      The contracts Alutiiq has with DoD offices provide a great opportunity to bypass the lengthy federal hiring process and get your foot in the door.

      Cons

      The onboarding very disorganized. The HR representative will be very responsive and send multiple follow ups for onboarding documents; ID, tax information, etc. But once the candidate is officially hired and onboard, will only respond to routine new hire questions about pay dates, time card submission, and benefits after multiple follow ups over the course of weeks.

      This has been a good job with nice people that has been flexible with things.

      Cons

      There is not a lot of staff investment nor organizational citizenship. As most government contractors, it is a take your paycheck and leave kind of place.
