Nice place to get your start but workload makes it hard to stay

Pros

Strong product with excellent reputation, nice to work for a true luxury cruise line with friendly service. I was always proud to share the name of where I worked. Employees get a free cruise each year to experience the product and these are a nice perk. Employees are good people.

Cons

The amount of work is so much that it is hard to find a work life balance. Things are always moving so fast and new initiatives are pushed out before time is taken for all departments to truly weigh in on what is needed to launch efficiently. This causes a lot of stress and headache trying to redo work and causes pile up.

Pros

This company could be a good company to work for if they had clear and concise standards for training and company policy but that is not the case. Although they are generous with their yearly time off policies and generous enough to give each of their employees a cruise every year they are very inconsistent in the way they arbitrarily apply HR principles.

Cons

Their training program is unorganized and very capriciously implemented. There are no standards for passing their training and moving into your position. There are no company manuals or study aides or procedure manuals to implement company procedures or policy in matters that are "grey material" which leads to those in charge being very capricious and arbitrary in evaluating candidates
