      If you are employed at one of the central sites you have a lot of opportunities to grow and develop your skills. If you are in a remote location you don't. I have seen both sides. Amadeus is highly successful which is a testament to the strong vision and strategy top management have consistently had. The modern approach to IT (technology, best practices and agility) caught Amadeus napping for a long time. Fortunately, Amadeus has recognised this and is making long overdue changes.

      Cons

      The changes are taking a long time due to the following reasons: very little new blood comes into the organisation from the outside, conservative management style and it takes a long time, and costly, to overhaul old technology with new.
