Great Employees, Bad Management

Pros

The workers are what made going to work enjoyable. Depending on what country you work the salary could be good. The company use to be a great place to work, however through the years it has progressively become a difficult work environment. Fortunately the company has produced great results year over year.

Cons

Bad management, management values are different from stated company values. They value dishonesty over integrity. It is a do as I say environment. They do not believe in their employees. They do not encourage growth or creativity. You are reward for being able to stay late at work and work on weekends. Those who got their work done in the 8 hour day were just consider lazy workers. I remember a CEO once saying if you can't get your work done in a normal working day, then the job is too big for you. Well my manager was the opposite of that philosophy. I would like to think my experience with this management style was isolated to just me but most of my friends across the company have the same experience.
