Pros

Great coworkers and the ability to work with state of the art technologies and companies.

Cons

Next to impossible to get a significant raise. You are expected to do all sorts of extracurricular activities to "build your body of work" with zero guarantee of a promotion or increase in income. If you get a bad manager your life will be hell as they are encouraged to weed out the "lowest performers". I watched some very qualified people get labeled "low performers" because their managers were clueless.

Pros

Culture was really good compared to traditional companies.

Cons

My commute was the worst part but that's on me. Travel was a bit rough on family life. But the pandemic fixed that.
