Clear processes & structured training Amazon provides well-documented systems. Helpful for building strong foundational data skills. 3. Stable job with global brand recognition Amazon on your CV strengthens future opportunities. Often includes good employee benefits and internal mobility.

Cons

1. Repetitive or routine tasks Many data-associate tasks involve annotation/labeling. May feel monotonous if you prefer creative/strategic work. 2. High performance expectations Strict productivity and accuracy targets. Can feel stressful or closely monitored. 3. Limited decision-making or ownership Role is often execution-focused, not strategic. Growth to analyst/ML roles can be slow without self-upskilling.

Pros

Depends on Team. Work life balance is good.

Cons

You need to work with lot of stake holders. promotions are very hard to get. Unless there is a requirement of next level role they will not put you in promo. Hikes are very less.
