Pros

Fairly competitive total compensation when stock is doing okay. What remains of the old culture is pragmatic, light, fast, mature, intelligent, and constantly self critical.

Cons

The old culture is dying quickly at the hands of over-management. Centralization, bureaucracies, and general Day 2 strategy is crippling the company from the top down. Pay is highly volatile due to so much of your compensation being based on stock. You don't find out what you're going to make next year until half way through this year, and even then, the compensation you actually receive is so volatile it puts completely unnecessary stress on marriage and family. Remote work policy is part of the Day 2 attitude, and is both counter productive and draconian. There is no substantiated evidence to support it.
