Pros

- Innovating, exciting products - Good coworkers - Fast moving - Good software development experience gain - Good engineers - RSUs doing well so far - Neutral/partially good experience working with product management

Cons

- No proper forward schedule planning that actually makes sense for a quality product - Poor performance of TPMs: Most TPMs lack technical knowledge, and hence act solely as relayers of information. This results in needless escalation of some issues over long term goals and priorities. - Lack of TPMs where needed: On the other hand, there are teams that have dire need of someone with relevant engineering background to solve problems on the project management side. I've seen some really good TPMs that help me understand the actual usefulness of the role, but most don't fulfill this. - Needless re-orgs - Product development process rules followed only on paper and not in spirit, largely because upper management doesn't actually care to wait for the process to pan out as it should. - Permanently, extremely busy, stressful days for engineers, almost purely due to poor time estimation at the middle management level. - Constant panic mode, and upper management name dropping to get stuff reprioritized over stuff engineers want to prioritize to ship better products - Food: Mediocre, expensive food. No proper food option after 5pm. Limited food options after 2pm. - Few or no conference rooms available to have actual discussions, for this size of a company - Meeting churn
