Pros
The work itself matches my background well. The team members and my manager has been friendly and helpful.
Cons
Amazon only gives you 20% of your RSUs in the first two years. No refreshers if they determine that the stock has gone up for some amount since you joined, and no annual cash bonus. The so-called "salary band is already met" is just an excuse. If you look at other big tech companies, Google, Facebook, Apple, etc. none of them is doing the same thing to their own employees. Not only Amazon stock goes up in the past few years. Amazon has a leadership principle called "frugality". Yeah, frugality against employees, and all the money saved goes into Jeff's pocket.
