Pros

You learn so much about the business and about what you're capable of. You literally come in with an undergraduate degree and can leave with a PHD. Thats how much you learn. Compensation is not bad, depending on what level you are. Working for Amazon can be a great look on your resume.

Cons

Depending on where you're located, networking can be hard so if you're trying to move to a different department it may be a little hard to do so. theres not too many departments to choose from in my office so if you want to move up or if you just want to try something new, you will have to be willing to move to another location. The main issue i have with this company is that things change so much that sometimes it's hard to stay on top of the changes that you may end up in a position/department thats not the perfect fit for you. Im on my 7th role in 3 years, 5 of those roles were not by choice. In many ways, I feel like i don't always have control of my own career. Also, if you apply to too many positions, that can make you look bad.....like a credit score which is dumb to me.
