Pros

There is a lot of opportunity to work on initiatives that can have a large impact, measured by customers reached, employees helped, businesses enabled, money moved, physical goods handled and much much more.

Cons

The company is aligned around exploring, entering and scaling new businesses efficiently. Predictable outcomes for employees are not always aligned with this and as a result being in the wrong role or business at the wrong time can be painful.

Pros

They really do feel like the biggest startup in the world. Even at north of 1.5M employees, they create mechanisms that enable change on the fly and constant iteration.

Cons

Always some politics in a Fortune 500 business.
