Pros

I was able to be promoted from situation associate to quality control in a short time. I worked at the DH01 LOCATION.

Cons

There's nothing personal about Amazon. It is all about numbers, No matter how good you are they will let you go without hesitation. I became very ill for two weeks and they made no consideration of my excellent employee status. I was fired.

Pros

Good pay if you work nights and plenty of overtime oportunities. Full-time 40 hour contract which is a rarity nowadays 3 days off a week. Easier to become permanent than in the past. Company shares(for now)... Easy to change shifts if you have children or education commitments. Carreer choice program which pays for your studies (if you have time to study and work full-time lol). Staff discount. Holidays and sick pay.

Cons

Too many kids at management level that think they are God's gift. HR team that are always unhelpful and against their own employees. They will look to get you sacked if you have missed shifts due to poor health. Slavery style system where they track each time you stop working (timed toilet breaks) and question you on it. No chance of progression or training in other processes unless you're a managers pet. Too many chavs in that place that were forced to go work from dole office. The targets are ridiculous if you work on pick and pack. Unbearable working conditions in the summer. Long shifts. Compulsory overtime during peaks meaning you hardly see your family during festive season.
