Pros

You will always be challenged with the work you do at Amazon and the scale you work with will prepare you for anything. Furthermore, you work with some of the best and brightest in your field which is very refreshing. Finally, the pay is very fair and I'm able to achieve pretty good work life balance

Cons

The culture here is pretty mediocre as there isn't really a sense of community if your direct team doesn't make it. Your time at Amazon really does depend on how good your manager is, if you have a good manager, its awesome, if not, you are kind of at their mercy. If you are big into the big tech amenities then Amazon is not as good as the others, but personally, I'd rather get paid more so I'm fine with it.

Pros

Challenging work, define your own path, able to set boundaries on work/life balance, lots of talent, open to virtual/remote employees

Cons

In a company this large it can feel overwhelming to choose one path when you look at all the things you could try to solve or improve
