Pros

"Customer obsession" whether internal teams or external customers is the watchword of Amazon and when people live upto it its truly a joy. The leadership principles are not mere words but driving forces for our technical and business decisions. Haven't come across any discrimination or outright rude behaviour that some people attribute to Amazon. Completing work on time and how much you spend per day is in your hands. So is your career progression though your manager will help you.

Cons

Some people may not truly live up to the leadership principles and sadly dont leave either, which is an odd situation. Eg: some teams working in silos and saying "its not my job"
