Pros

Interesting projects and technology to work on.

Cons

On some teams, jerks and prima donnas allowed to be jerks and prima donnas and get promoted for it. Benefits: In the areas of 401k matching, PTO, and lack of an Employee Stock Purchase plan, are very poor. Employee Amazon Store discount is a joke. On the surface it's a 10% discount, which sounds great, but it's capped at $100/year. That doesn't even cover a Prime membership.

Pros

Good pay, decent work life balance, and good benefits. Rarely will you find a place that is finding solutions at a scale as large as this.

Cons

Due to constrained headcount and hiring freezing there's been a lot of prioritization thrashing. Meaning the thing you might be working on that is priority #1 might change midway through your project. Can lead to burnout.
