Pros

Good money. Work at a large scale only a company like Amazon can offer. Lots of opportunities for learning.

Cons

Customers > Employees. Leadership does not care about you. Everyone has on-call. Some teams are worse than others. Even if you find a good team, a single re-org can take it all away from you. Lies to employees that they can work virtually only to remove the "benefit" after you've changed your life.
