Pros

AWS is really focused on being Customer First. Particularly in the SA role You get access to a ton of cutting edge technologies and (basically) unlimited access to the AWS cloud in your own environment Compensation

Cons

They throw a lot at you and expect a lot AWS expects more than just being a good SA for you customers. Blogs, Whitepapers, demo's public speaking are expected on top of customer responsibilities in order to advance

Pros

A great place to learn and work at the same time. Upgrading your skill, being systematically influenced to think long term and building a mindset to continuously think of improving customer experience are some of the finest traits that one can experience here in AWS.

Cons

The initial period can be a little overwhelming with the vast knowledge to gather and retain and the variety of tools that needs to be leveraged in your daily life, takes time to adjust. But once you are in the groove, it makes life easy.
