Pros

AWS is extremely organized and fast paced, tons of opportunities to learn more about company, lots of opportunity to excel, recruiting for top notch talent. Autonomous work environment but with strong team members. Everyone is very nice - both team members and managers.

Cons

Ramp up is challenging and you have to be super organized to retain many different components of information. You must be on the top of your game and very detail oriented to keep up!

It's Not Always About the Customer

Pros

Great experience and training on cloud technology and exposure to many great partners.

Cons

The business culture was all about the numbers, even though their main leadership principal is all about the customer. Management tries to accellerate closing contracts in the public sector when there are many factors that cannot be accellerated, like the customer's fiscal year. If you are going for a sales position at AWS, beware that quotas are not based upon anything remotely related to reality.
