Pros

You are more or less able to determine your own income because we (at least at our facility) hand out overtime like candy, but it's still $$$ = Time. The work is stupidly easy most of the time. It's a job.

Cons

You are expendable. They will run you ragged until you break and then they get rid of you and get a new part. As part of the Ball purchase, the new Amcor leadership is feckless at best, downright condescending, oblivious, and unable to see what the conditions on the floor actually are. There is almost no concern for employee relations. Communication between management and operators is awful. You pretty much have to go to the "Ivory Tower" and drag the info out of them before they will actually tell you anything. If there is a quality problem, it almost always comes back as the little guy's fault, no matter what.
