Unforgettably poor experience.

Pros

Hours. Pay. Parking. Free jackets.

Cons

Had overheard a concerning amount of anti-LGBT from staff. Frequently had to deal with “eye for an eye, but I can’t count”. Have been hassled, deadnamed, misgendered, berated, insulted, and yelled at more times at this job than the last 12 years of working. Maintenance will casually mention wanting a civil war in the us to kill democrats, (which to each their own, but don’t say crap like that at work). Management is entirely unsympathetic, and ignored issues that have been reported multiple times. The write up system requires you to make up for an uncovered day off, regardless of reason, with 8 overtime days, or 60 days of perfect attendance. So if an emergency happens, that’s tough. And my personal favorite, you will be called unaccountable for reporting accidents, even if only you know about it. I’m not joking, on your yearly review, it will tank the overall score cause you decided to own up to mistakes.
