An average place to work.

Pros

The company has decent benefits. They try to encourage a work/life balance. I have a great deal of freedom, but I have also proven I'm capable of self management. My immediate manager is very helpful, attentive, gives me freedom and authority to work and trusts my judgment. This has been the greatest benefit for working with this company.

Cons

It's very difficult for divisions to work well together. It's also more difficult to find opportunities to advance. You can get a lot of responsibility added to your plate, but no adjustment to pay to match the responsibility. Additionally, one can get lost and become an unknown within Amdocs when one's time is spent 100% at a client site. There's no solid training program, nor any guidance from upper management. You just kind of enter the company and get stuck at one job. Unless you are doing sales and make the big closes, you don't get noticed.
