Favoritism is so bad here. There are no opportunities for advancement. Most are not thanked or acknowledged. Some employees can just sit on their phone in a supervisor's office for literally hours. There is little communication regarding protocols or training. Too many get away with being late or not restocking the truck, and you're picking up someone else's slack. You get yelled at for things that were someone else's responsibility. Upper management doesn't respond to emails from many employees. Hours are not flexible. There is no debriefing after really messed up runs. Management does not appreciate or give opportunity to people who are paying to further their education in ems. You're seen as a number. This company seriously does not care, and it's not a family atmosphere.
