      Pros

      As banks/credit unions go I feel that AFCU is on the forefront of technology and working to be a leader in the community.

      Cons

      Banks/credit unions are the slowest moving industries out there, so pay increases aren't huge and while AFCU is at the head compared to the rest, it is behind as far as wages and such.

      Pros

      I've never worked for a company that kept its morals, ethics, and business goals so aligned. This is a company that will take care of its employees. I love that this credit union offers so many free products to its members -- it's clear in every sense that our purpose is to HELP members, not make huge profits off them. I've almost been here a year, and not once have I felt like my supervisors weren't looking out for and supporting me.

      Cons

      I wish the turnover rate wasn't so high. As soon as you get to know a fellow employee, they're gone.

      Good hours with 30hrs being considered full time and benefits offered.

      Cons

      Extremely low pay for a large credit union, it does not encourage employees to stay with the company.
