the initial interview we all were told we were responsible on setting our own hours, and our income was up to how hard you wanted to work. After training, you were given a schedule that was mandatory of 3 office days of 8-9 hrs on phones and couldn't leave until you had 12 apts booked for the following day, field days was the other 3 days of 12 or more hours of riding around all day to no shows, then Always on Sunday you had apts that were set. Basically working over 70 hours and possibly making nothing that week. Leads they gave you (was only once they gave me a pack) were 2 years old and it was basically telling ppl someone gave them a free $2000 policy or a child kit to get in the door and push the need for final expenses. When I left the company all the trainers were new (just out of training class themselves) they only had 2 qualified trainers left in the company at Columbia SC.

Sales script way too long. AIL relies way too much on a computered sales pitch to present there products. Also during the sales pitch agents ask for referals before giving the clients there figures.
