As a recruiter we were told to basically lie to prospective new employees by telling them that we do no not have information as far as compensation, which we partially did. My direct manager told me not to tell the potential interviewees it was a commision based job to get them to come into the office for an interview and after seeing the presentation let them find out for themselves. I received multiple calls after they had interviewed expressing their frustration and disappointment.
