      It is not a scam. However there is a lot of deception that goes on.

      Pros

      The people were nice and they did care about your well-being.

      Cons

      Part of the reason they cared about your well-being is that resulted in them making money. They weren't honest about cold calling in interview process. Extremely low pay compared to other insurance jobs.

      can be a good starting place for someone new to the insurance business

      Pros

      most of the time, they have really good training and a good sales philosophy, plus they focus on creating a lot of activity, to lead to your success

      Cons

      A lot of activity means spending lots of hours, sometimes 6 or even 7 days a week was suggested, and much of that activity does not seem productive.

      I am making more money than I ever have! My experiences and skills are accepted and utilized every day as I am succeeding, being promoted and getting the chance to change peoples lives. I am surrounded by skilled and willing leaders who press me and help me to see my dreams come true and the dreams of others.

      Cons

      I am working harder than I ever have... but I realize I was fear driven and lazy- that's why I wanted someone else to be the responsibility taker.
