Pros
You learn a lot about insurance for your personal gain
Cons
I have read many of the latest reviews, and the first one is actually the PRESIDENT of the company. The San Antonio location is the most unprofessional company that I have attempted to work for. All managers dress professional, but most cuss while teaching their training class (including the owner). They talk about everyone embarrass trainees, as well as the administrative assistant. The agents are taught to tell its customers anything that they want to hear and are scripted to ask questions to use the information to make sales. The leads are really old and agents are not paid during training. Managers are not on the same page and it's no consistency with its curriculum. The company requires that you obtain a license, but no one teaches anything about the test because you are pressured to take the class online and take the test within the first two weeks. They also lie and tell the agents that you will be paid for gas and phone expenses, but you must reach a bonus quota in order to do so, or you are on your own. Some girl who is a manager smokes an electronic cigarette the whole time that she is teaching training and talks dirty at time, which is very offensive. Two days out of a week you are required to work seven hours using your personal cell phone and laptop without pay. In fact, you are required to use your personal laptop the entire time. The owner tells you you only work seven hours a day but she wants you to double book and you will sometimes get off after 10 p.m. They have no consideration for your life or family.
