income potential If your goal in life is to be rich with no regard to Morality then the job is perfect for you

Cons

Rampant lying and misleading of clients. You will be micromanaged all day every day. Your life will be work and little else, regularly work 7 days a week. Management will encourage you to neglect your family in order to work more. They blatantly lie to people to get them in for an "overview" and then even at the overview they are extremely misleading about what your job really is. Frankly this place makes me sick to my stomach.

An opportunity to make a lot of money and move into management quickly.

Cons

You will give up your life. Work 7 days a week and 13 hours a day. You will spend your days only on the phone making calls to force yourself into people's homes. You will spend every evening and Saturdays traveling to homes to sell insurance to people who dont want it. No sales no money. No base pay. You are not an employee, you are an individual contractor so no benefits. You also have to sink your own money into training, testing, licensing, gas, business cards, laptop, and more. They are biased against older employees.

Been working for AIL for 1year. Coming from teaching 5th grade, I liked AIL's overview but wasn't convinced. Once I got into the career I over-came my biggest fair, COMMISSON! I enjoy conversing while helping families understand the produces and services AIL provide. I AM NOT A SALESMAN! I am a representative of AIL who protects the working family's assets through their insurance. The growth, opportunity, great pay and weekly bonus is just what keeps my wife happy :)
