The claims department, as any other claims team, is always under staffed however when you ask for help they want you to figure it out yourself. They don't provide tools to manage claims that are any help, and some of them actually slow you down and are inefficient. As an adjuster you are salaried, and the salary is great but what they don't tell you is that you'll be working a lot of over time in the busy seasons. When you break down the hours that you work you make a lot less than if you were paid hourly.

I was not advised that the position that I was hired for was experimental and temporary. Horrible health insurance plan. Pay not worth time required to handle claims. Purposely overloaded to make you quit.
