Pros

Helping people, some nice coworkers, getting to see different towns around the state, travel stipend ($20/day)

Cons

No work life balance, schedules change constantly including while you’re sleeping and if you don’t keep a copy for proof you’ll be written up for not showing 3 hours earlier than what it said when you went to bed. Favoritism, passive aggressive behavior from management and supervisors as well as frequent practice of constructive dismissal to force people to quit. Union reps do not care about fellow staff.
