      - Good job security - Obtain secret clearance, which opens the door to many other companies in the future if you choose - Low stress environment For engineers that are just starting out, this can be a good contractor to work for to get your feet wet into DOD contracting work if you are unable to secure a position in a larger company.

      Cons

      - Direct compensation is low compared to other companies - Overall complexity of work is low, depending on your outlook this could be a positive - Non-transparent advancement structure, it's not clear to me what your career will look like if you stay here long term.
