Pros

Up until now there has been very little micro management. Pay is OK but not exceptional

Cons

Company seems unstable an does not seem to want to do what required to corner the market. From what I see where they have the good old boy club mentality the company does well but where they have actual competition they typically don't rise to the level that's needed. Company is requiring non compete for even entry level sales positions it seems to be an attempt to limit their employees options. They seem to change the rules to benefit the company and try to put a people first spin , it's dishonest

This was like watching the movie “Dumb and Dumber.” The leaders in the Supply Chain are the main characters.

It was a paycheck. 401k was solid.

Cons

Unrealistic goals and expectations. There are just too many people in high leadership positions that don’t have a clue, or only care about themselves. If you are thinking about coming on board, run the other way.

Pros

ATD used to be a good and stable place to work and I enjoyed the relationships with co-workers. There's a lot of good people there.

Cons

Over the past couple years, the company seems to have been steered straight into an iceberg. The stability of ATD is questionable at best with the distribution relationships with Goodyear and Bridgestone severed. Rumors are that Michelin is next to go; however, those are just rumors. Management has quit listening to their customers and employees and their policies are driving a wedge between the company and their customers.
