Pros

Great work-life balance, minimal expectation to take work home or work long hours.

Cons

Very few opportunities for advancement and low salaries (management would argue that good benefits make up for low salaries)

Pros

There is a great opportunity to learn many aspects of the tower business, and American Tower has a wealth of resources to help you.

Cons

1. Compensation for Sales isn't aligned with company goals, and OTE, is low by many standards. 2. There is often no sense of urgency internally unless you escalate to the highest levels. 3. Everyone looks to the TMBD to sell, provide forecasts, develop relationships across the industry, resolve internal process issues, and generally be "where the buck stops," until it comes to compensation and recognition. It's as if the upper management still has no clear understanding of what is required of the role and the level of knowledge it takes to get through the day. As a result, turnover in this position has been very high. I've never worked so hard to make so little.
