      1. Job security (tower engineering function is yet to be overtaken by AI) 2. Safe work environment

      1. Non-competitive pay for civil/structural engineers considering volume of work and responsibility. 2. Few growth paths (most growth paths are lateral) 3. Engineering function is treated as a necessary evil instead of the business critical function it is. 4. Long work hours (difficult to achieve work life balance) even though work-life balance is a constant theme being pursued by management.

      The work culture is good.

      Cons

      During my three years with American Tower Corporation, I had the opportunity to work on some interesting projects and collaborate with great colleagues. However, one area that left room for improvement was the annual salary hike. I received a 4% increase, which was significantly lower than what I had seen in other companies in the industry. While I appreciated the experience and growth opportunities at the company, the lower-than-average salary adjustments did affect my overall job satisfaction. I believe addressing this issue would enhance the overall employee experience and help retain top talent.
