Pros

American Woodmark attracts employees that truly care, not only about the company, but more importantly about each other. The company stands by its core values, never turning a blind eye, caring just as much about how things get done as what gets done.

Cons

Not a lot to say in the cons. Sometimes our locations can be a challenge, but at the same time, our locations provide a great place to raise families and have a balanced lifestyle.

Pros

Great Company to work for. Corporate, but not too corporate. Has the right checks and balances in place to create a great work place. Felt like family. The cabinetry and the foot print in the market is great.

Cons

The pay scale/structure. If you do not negotiate a good salary at the time of hire, it is very hard to increase your pay by the way they structure it. The company is very profitable, the employees should feel profitable too.

Everyone is nice, friendly and helpful from the CEO down. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. They have a great orientation program so you learn a lot about the company from the beginning.

Cons

I can't think of any cons, it's a great place to work.
