Pros

American Woodmark is one of the very few places that is concerned with making sure their employees understand their job, the product and the company. They also show value in their employees by making sure they have continuous training on product, as well as multiple trainings on how to keep a conducive working enviornment.

Cons

The only con I ran into was that I as well as others had a hard time getting HR to address an issue with an unruly manager. But they eventually were able to address the problem.

Pros

Great pay with weekends off. Excellent bonus potential. Promotion from within.

Cons

Mandatory overtime with little/no notice. Supervisors switch around employees on their assembly line positions (due to call-ins/vacations) but expect performance to be maintained.
