Pros

I loved the flexibility at Amerit. They are a very family oriented company with lots of room for growth. There were times I needed to work from home to be with a sick family member and was accommodated. I was recognized for my hard work and appreciated. My manager was quite possibly the best ever. I was never micromanaged and was able to give my best to the company. I appreciate the opportunity to work for them and I think others would agree. I will miss my Amerit Family.

Cons

I didn't have any issues with this company. I think that 401k match would have been great but wasn't a deal breaker.

Pros

Very friendly environment, lots of smiles and warmth among the various departments. Teamwork is number on. Asking others for help is never a burden, as the whole company works as one functional unit rather than separate departments strung along. The workload is very manageable and you never feel inundated by the projects or assignments given to you, especially with all the management support. The company cares - they make sure you get everything you need and that you feel you are being heard.

Cons

Some projects may come with having a more stringent time frame to fulfill, but as with any company, sometimes timely tasks are necessary for the given situation.

Pros

Flexibility depending on whom you work for. It's a 5+ year old "startup" that needs basic functions done. You're always meeting new people because high turnover of employees. There are a LOT of meetings / conference calls. It's a great place to work, for 6 months to a year. Usually bagels and/or donuts each morning.

Cons

See the pros, but a few details are the poor guidance from corporate. Departments are silos that don't communicate leading to poor execution and a blame game culture. There are no clear metrics to measure performance. Use these reviews wisely if amerit is offering. Ask why there's been a spike in positive reviews over the past few months. Ask how long people have been here. Know what you're getting into.
