Pros
Laid back culture (could be both good and bad) No micro-managing (depends on the manager) Friendly co-workers Flexible work schedule Great benefits including medical, dental, tuition reimbursement, good 401k match, volunteer days, metro & parking subsidies, etc Senior management (including CEO) is accessible/friendly
Cons
Not technology driven Lack of vision with regards to technology Not many employees are tech savvy (some are very old school and sometimes can be frustrating to work with) No formal training No career advancement opportunities (you pretty much have to wait until someone quits) No room for innovation; people are used to do things in certain ways and are reluctant to change. Most of them have been with the company for 5-10 years.
