I have been with Amesite for more than 3 years now. During these 3 years, I've been promoted 3 times – all of which I didn't have to ask/negotiate for. Each time I had discussions with the CEO to make sure my promotions aligned with not only the company's success but also my personal career goals. Expectations were communicated, and compensation was increased to reflect the increase of responsibilities. I have been truly honored to work for a company with not only a great mission – but a company that holds ethics and moral responsibility in the highest regard. Every decision is made thoughtfully and carefully. Team members are treated with the utmost respect, and coaching/feedback is given in a direct and honest way from the CEO herself (some people appreciate this more than others :)!) The high regard for ethics shines through at every level of the company – from frontline team members to c-levels to investors to customers to users. Working at Amesite for 3 years has allowed me to watch the company grow and evolve. At each stage or shift – our CEO leads with honesty and transparency. The team knows what changes to expect, so when changes do arise, anxiety is kept at bay allowing the team to execute with excellence. The negative reviews here have been disappointing. We hire and bring people along for this super exciting ride and give them ample opportunities to grow and flourish, to sometimes have them separate and lambast our culture. It is a shame they write so highly of the coworkers and at the same time tank our Glassdoor rating – impacting none other than the people who work hard at and care so deeply about the Company and its mission.
Cons
Some people are happy where they are at and no knock on them! If you are not OK with being pushed out of your comfort zone, then our culture is not for you. We focus on growing the company and every team member along with it.
