Amgen has very fulfilling work, plenty of research funding and resources, and tons of room to grow your career as a scientist. Pay is probably the best among biopharmas in greater Vancouver area.

Cons

Amgen expects of lot from their employees. Workloads can be very high.

Lot of politics. If they don't like you, theybwill show nonsense reasons to fire you.. they point out u and say.. will u resign or should we terminate u? This is a bad culture.. no courtesy at all..
