Great place to work, but career progression is difficult

Leader in the industry; highly intelligent employees; well thought out processes Mature structure and thinking Generally collaborative - not hierarchical

Cons

Career progression is very difficult - even for employees with consistently high ratings. Must move to a different company in order to get a promotion. Generally, people managers are not focused on managing people - only a few show excellence in this regard. (Not that different industry wide) There is some bureaucracy that was starting to slow things down more than was necessary to mitigate risk Less competitive in salaries/benefits than realized until leaving

True management is lacking, not a good sign

Innovative, challenging work, great opportunity to learn and gain exposure.

Cons

Initially the work culture was fine. As time progressed, the culture became toxic. The individuals that were often times downplaying others, overly political, insecure were getting promoted over those with integrity. True management was lacking. This type of behavior caused many of the most qualified, hardworking, friendly, and enthusiastic team members to leave.
