      Poor management. They are so over-worked that they cannot and do not manage their teams. Anything goes.

      They take care of their employees, particularly with respect to monetary compensation and benefits. Company's stated values are unexceptionable.

      Cons

      Company is prone to groupthink in some parts of the organization. If you are in one of them, organizational meetings are like Stalinist show trials.

      Awesome potential, wonderful campus.

      Cons

      No growth potential. Not a big focus on employees as assets - feels like Amgen’s HR is non-existent and managers are not held accountable for culture or turnover. There is a feeling that the company is leveraging its weight and lack of biopharma opportunities in LA as a sword.
