Pros

Great training, relocation expenses taken care of, group or team working together as one, salary is fair compared to the industry but someone with no kids or major responsibilities can definitely live comfortably if you don't live above your means, hard to get fired

Cons

Company culture is a hoax, being likeable is more important than work ethic, consistent relocation, the expectation of putting work before everything, lack of work/life balance, lack of compensation for being bilingual/multilingual

Pros

Great benefits, decent pay, and established company with good reputation

Cons

No real room for advancement and antiquated employee policies- work environment is very traditional and rigid. Not all branches are the same- some are more strict than others.

Pros

Immediately vested in 401K after 30 days. Hour lunch break. Most holidays off.

Cons

The main issue is that you are told that you are an insurance sales rep while in actuality you are a glorified customer service rep. Commissions are paid a flat rate of $25 per policy regardless of how much the premium is and is paid on a "one and done" basis. You will spend majority of your day servicing policies and maybe 10% of your time is actually writing new business. Their CRM is antiquated and you will find your self cleaning up others messes constantly because they are not paid enough to be a one stop solution for all customer inquiries.
