Pros

Great benefits, paid time off, education is very important and your courses, tests, and license are paid for by the company

Cons

Employees are micromanaged, no opportunity to move up in the company unless you are willing to relocate to any branch office in the country

Pros

Benefits, including health insurance and pension. decent work life balance. The company has Success sharing & that is always a bonus, and we understand it's never guaranteed.

Cons

Antiquated computer systems that never improve. Overall mentality that they act like they want to hear your opinion but your scolded did when you give it. Local Management needs to focus on getting their job done (specifically referring to file review and risk OK's) in a timely manner. When this is reversed, for a representative it is held against them at evaluation time. This is a call center PERIOD. Representatives, regardless of level or expertise are expected to act like agents, underwriters, IT experts, billing experts, conflict resolution experts amongst many others without ever being fully rewarded, whether that's financially or with praise.

Pros

I've been at Amica for 7.5 years. This is an excellent company to work for. The culture makes for an enjoyable day at the office. Everyone is here to accomplish the same goal - provide amazing service to our customers.

Cons

Little opportunity for significant advancement. You can earn additional responsibilities and all the trust in the world with management but it means little when there isn't more money attached to it. That being said you will steadily grow your salary with annual merit increases and also annual success sharing bonuses that amount to up to 10.25% of your salary(dependent on company performance, claim payouts, etc.)
