      I enjoyed a long career performing several different jobs at Amphenol

      Pros

      A very lean company without too many layers of management and very global oriented. Strong presence in the mobile devices industry for antennas, connectors, mechanisms and MIM parts.

      Cons

      Can be hard to have longevity due to low tolerance for revenue fluctuation and lean group. With some products they are capable but not industry leader for technology or cost so can be challenging gaining new business. Most projects are custom designed for specific customers.

      Pros

      401k match is decent considering all of the cons.

      Cons

      No employee appreciation = high turnover naturally, no surprise there. No resources put into employee training of any kind, very old outdated computer programs and management techniques. Very lean operation that leaves the employees to lose. Very low employee moale.

      Pros

      A few really great people to work with that seem to hold the company together.

      Cons

      When you make it 5 years and you are considered a "survivor," you know there is a problem. High employee turnover rate. Low salary with a great deal of overtime. Constant lay offs (3 rounds in 5 years). Lack of employee appreciation. No training. No room for growth.
