Great remote work, but poor growth and pay

Pros

It’s fully remote and no in person expectations

Cons

Company does not have structured internal growth plans, lacks investment in its employees, very weak compensation with a ridiculous bonus structure. If you’re looking to grow in a career, don’t expect it from Amplify. If you’re content with holding the same role with weak relative compensation this is the place for you.

Pros

The 401(k) matching is a great perk, and having drinks and food available in the office is fantastic. Plus, the reimbursement for phone and internet costs is a nice bonus!

Cons

The unlimited vacation policy sounds appealing, but taking time off often leads to disapproval from management. The healthcare options are costly, and your day is consumed by meetings, leaving little time to focus on the work you’re actually evaluated on. As a project manager, you may find yourself functioning more as a secretary for the project owner. While you might receive positive feedback throughout the year, performance reviews can take a harsh turn, highlighting your shortcomings without offering a chance for improvement. This could result in being placed on a performance improvement plan or facing termination, with no opportunity for a salary increase.
