good place to begin career and gain some experience. lots of room to make money with overtime

Cons

politics within the company can get annoying. 24 hour operation means a lot of work during the night/early morning hours.

Pros

Friendly. You get lunches bought for you, so you don't get upset with your boss for making you work 20 something hours at a time.

Cons

Ended up in the hospital due to company neglegance, my supervisor frequently stole lab equipment and would get away with it, not worried about employee safety or OSHA regulations, slimy corporation.

Pros

Operations and dispatchers are very pleasant to work with. As an inspector as long as you do your job right and keep constant communication with operations it will be smooth sailing for every job.

Cons

The company doesn't understand the word "I'm tired" even after spending over 30 hours without sleep. They will push you to absolute limit. They also pay "Chinese" or diminishing overtime value even after they lost a lawsuit regarding this. The pay itself, including benefits and vacation time is not even comparable to the other inspection companies, but that varies by state you work from. And to get promoted is nearly impossible due to the fact that everyone brought in their entire family and friends circle on board.
