top 500 fortune E&S Wholesale Insurance company. Works very close with top Insurance Carriers / top 500 retail agency. Amwins is a very family oriented company

The Claims Dept is a NIGHTMARE!

Pros

The pros...they're close to home and the building is really nice--free workout facilities and a free parking garage. The benefits are decent, and the pay is competitive.

Cons

This place is very unorganized. Claims are mishandled and no one knows what they're doing. There is absolutely no training, you're just given a caseload and told to "do it". Add to that, a chef claims officer who is bully and you have the recipe for chaos. Turnover is extremely high and there's really no future for this place unless management does something about the circus environment that currently exists in the office.
