Pros

My experience across the organisation (US, Asia and Ireland) has been positive - good people, good cooperation and challenging work. Compensation is good but not a leader. Generally flexible on vacation time and time off requests. Overall happy with company and no wish/plans to move.

Cons

Generally the turn-over is low so advancement can be an issue. Layoffs seem to have become a regular event each Fall which has a big impact on morale. Changes in market focus is another disruptive issue.

Pros

The culture and people make it a great place to work. And, probably a good start-up job.

Cons

Advancement opportunities are mostly scarce at ADI. If you don’t mind a slowdown in pace from time to time (including salary growth), then it's not a big deal. But it’s important to keep your career continually moving in a forward direction that is consistent with your career goals and objectives.
