It USED to be great place to work

Pros

Makes great product in Medical and Security devices. Decent pay and benefit. Great physical working environment, easy commute near major highway.

Cons

New management (CIO) has no compassion and no regard to employee job loyalty, when he took office he fired group of workers, many of who has been with the company for over 30+ years.

challenging technologies keeps good engineers interested, domain of expertise is truly high-tech and cross-functional HW, SW, Physics, imaging and more

Cons

old, bad, bullying management made of former engineers turned managers. toxic environment socially-wise caused by oldies with very limited people skills and outdated technologically. Current management does not understand the value of good engineering in both SW and HW.
